Pathway Scholarships
Pathway I
Pathway I Scholarships are awarded directly to families who meet eligibility requirements.

Pathway II
Forest Lake Early Childhood Programs receives limited funding from the Minnesota Department of Education to help families cover the cost of preschool for students who are 3 or 4 years old.

- 25-26 Scholarship available July 2025. Use the 24-25 Application until then.
School Readiness Financial Aid
Through School Readiness, we can offer a limited amount of financial assistance to qualifying families. There is an application process to complete; children must meet specific criteria based on the sliding fee adapted by the Early Childhood Programs to participate.
In accordance with Statute 124D.15 applicants must have one or more of the following risk factors:
- qualifies for free or reduced-price meals;
- is an English learner;
- is homeless;
- has an individualized education program (IEP) or standardized written plan;
- is identified, through health and developmental screenings with a potential risk factor that may influence learning

Voluntary PreK
The FLAS Early Childhood Programs have received funding through Voluntary PreK (VPK) for Lino Lakes Elementary and Forest View Elementary.
Students enrolled in a full day class at these sites will receive preschool free of charge.
2024-2025
Both sites are currently full but students may be added to the waitlist.
2025-2026
VPK Funds are restricted to the 2-day full day classes.
